Strolling magic is a specialised form of entertainment where the magician is performing “close up” magic right in front of their audience.
Other terms for this style are Roving Magic or Walk Around Magic
Whether for kids / children, adults or the whole family, Pop Magic entertains with appropriate effects and mysteries.
Strolling magic is often undertaken where the magic is additional entertainment for the main purpose of the gathering or the audience are not in a position where a magic show can be undertaken due to the nature of the event or venue.
The magician is usually moving amongst the audience i.e. from person to person or group to group.
Pop Magic has undertaken strolling / roving magic at a wide variety of events and venues such as:
- birthday parties where guests are mingling
- weddings whilst guests are arriving or awaiting the bridal party to return from having photos taken
- fairs, festivals and fetes
- amongst customers / shoppers at store openings
- added entertainment at magic shows
- regular family entertainment at hardware stores
- at cinemas prior to themed film pre views (e.g. Harry Potter, The Illusionist)
- adding entertainment at charity events / fundraisers

| Hi Vince Thanks so much for performing your magic show and entertainment for the Dads and Kids sleepover at Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club. It was just what the event needed, with your strolling magic and quick balloon shapes followed by the Magic Show it was fantastic entertaiment for the kids and dads alike.
